– Perform building envelope investigations and recommend roofing and waterproofing repairs
– Review roofing and waterproofing details, drawings, and specifications
– Evaluate contractor submittals and RFIs and provide technical feedback
– Conduct field inspections and construction observations to verify quality and compliance
– Collect field data and prepare technical reports and documentation
– Participate in project meetings and coordinate with clients, contractors, and project teams
– Interpret architectural drawings, plans, and specifications
– Assist with project budgeting, cost estimates, and financial tracking
– Provide responsive, high-quality client service and communication
– Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering or Architecture
– Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA)
– 3+ years of experience in building envelope consulting, roofing, or waterproofing systems
– Strong knowledge of building materials, roofing systems, and waterproofing performance
– Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings
– Experience with technical writing, reports, and specifications
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
– Comfortable working both independently and within a team environment
– Willingness to perform fieldwork on construction sites and travel as needed
