– Support senior engineers with project coordination, document control, and project execution
– Review submittals, plans, and specifications for compliance with codes and design requirements
– Attend client, contractor, and coordination meetings and communicate project updates effectively
– Assist in resolving field issues and construction challenges while maintaining accurate project documentation
– Perform quality control inspections, testing, and review deliverables prior to client submission
– Manage multiple projects simultaneously while handling sensitive information professionally and discreetly
– 75–80% fieldwork on active construction sites
– Exposure to 5–10+ projects per week
– Combination of new construction and restoration projects
– Work performed in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC area, with occasional out of town travel.
– Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related field of study.
– 3–5+ years of experience in construction, engineering, or related field.
– Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
– Strong organizational and communication skills
– Willingness to perform fieldwork, including working at heights
– Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
